Capture Club has four tiers. Here's the honest comparison.
Free, $0
Best for: trying Capture Club on one real wedding before you decide.
What you get:
- 1 event: you can host one live gallery
- Unlimited guest uploads: guests can upload as much as they want
- First 50 uploads visible: after 50, new uploads still happen but aren't shown until you upgrade
- Watermarked previews: small Capture Club mark on each photo in the feed
- No downloads: guests can't download, you can't download-all as zip
- "Powered by Capture Club" footer on the guest gallery page
What you don't get:
- Unlimited events, live streaming, viewing room, white-label, custom URLs, full downloads
The Free tier is explicitly a "try it at a real wedding" offer. If you're running more than 1 wedding, you'll need at least Starter.
Starter, $19/month or $190/year
Best for: wedding pros running multiple events per year who don't need live streaming or full white-label.
What you get (everything in Free, plus):
- Unlimited events
- Full-resolution downloads: you can download originals, guests can download (if you enable it)
- No watermark on media: clean originals
- Your logo + brand color on the gallery header
- Delivery Gallery mode: flip a toggle post-event to turn the same URL into a clean, curated album
- 30 GB of storage included per event
What's still missing (Pro only):
- Live streaming (RTMP ingest → guest Mux player → auto-recorded VOD)
- Viewing Room slideshow at the venue
- Custom URLs per event (like
your-studio.captureclub.app/emily-marcus) - Full white-label (hiding Capture Club branding entirely)
- Bulk management tools (select 100 photos, tag them all, delete in bulk)
- Pro dashboard with engagement analytics
- Priority support queue
Annual billing ($190) = 2 months free vs monthly.
Pro, $49/month or $490/year
Best for: wedding photographers and planners running 10+ events a year who want the full toolkit.
What you get (everything in Starter, plus):
- Live streaming for the ceremony, one tap starts an RTMP stream, guests watch via the gallery page, auto-recorded as a VOD when you end it
- Viewing Room: TV slideshow mode for the venue. Point a TV at the gallery URL, fullscreen slideshow with your custom headline, brand color, slide duration, optional password gate
- Custom URL per event: replace the random slug with something memorable (your-studio.captureclub.app/couple-name or a vanity path)
- Full white-label: hide the "Powered by Capture Club" footer entirely. Gallery looks 100% like your studio
- Bulk management tools: multi-select tiles, batch tag/delete/restore
- Pro dashboard with per-event analytics
- Priority support: your tickets jump to the front of the queue
- Higher storage tier per event
Annual billing ($490) = 2 months free vs monthly.
Founding, $249 one-time, lifetime
Best for: one of the first 25 wedding pros ever, permanently locked in.
What you get:
- Everything in Pro, forever: no monthly bill, ever
- Founding Member badge on your profile
- Early access to every new feature we ship
- Price locked in: even if Pro goes up to $99/mo, you stay at $0/mo forever
What's the catch: only 25 seats, ever. Once 25 are sold (or 30 days pass from launch), the tier closes permanently. No "we reopened it for one day" promotion.
Which plan do I actually need?
You're a wedding photographer shooting 10+ weddings a year? Pro is the answer. The math works out, your per-wedding cost is $4 vs $40+ for other gallery platforms. Live streaming alone pays for itself the first time a grandparent watches from home.
You're a planner running galas and corporate events? Starter probably covers you, you usually don't need live streaming. Upgrade to Pro if you want custom URLs.
You shoot 1-3 weddings a year and it's a side business? Starter. $19/month for a few months around your busy season.
You want to get into the Founding tier? Act fast. The 25 seats move quickly once word spreads. And after the tier closes, there's no second chance.
You're not sure? Start Free. Host one wedding. Upgrade after.
